Astor Neighborhood Wine Tasting

I want to take a moment to thank everyone who attended this year’s event, to say “thank you” to Kevin and Lynn Heslin for their wonderful hospitality for a second year, and to express one more thank you to the local businesses which provided both food for the party, and baskets for the silent auction. Thank You All! Everyone seemed to be having a real nice time engaging in conversation with neighbors and meeting new friends in our neighborhood. There was a nice outlay of tasty treats too, which disappeared over the course of the evening.

Over the course of the evening, I spoke to numerous neighbors who expressed the willingness to attend or even host a summertime get together. A beer garden or a beer and wine garden were popular ideas, as well as the possibility of many of the foodies in the neighborhood bringing a dish to such a party. So many have lovely yards they would love to share with others. I’ll keep all informed about this option, and please feel free to contact me if you are interested in such an event. Please give us the thumbs up on our Facebook Page!

Thank you to everyone who expressed interest in the “If Homes Could Talk”, and to those of you who expressed interest in making their homes one of those on the tour. Please feel free to attend the annual meeting on March 20th to see a presentation on this historical adventure between the ANA and the Brown County Historical Society, and please bring your ideas too.

Hope to see you all at the meeting on the 20th of March.

Regards,
